See this movie
One of the benefits of gallivanting throughout Southern Ontario over the holidays was having the opportunity to see two movies in Toronto that I might not have otherwise. While I would recommend Frost/Nixon to fellow media/political types (or anyone who's done interviewing), Slumdog Millionaire was, by far, the best movie I saw in 2008.
That might not be a bold statement, considering other contenders that come to mind include Ironman and Pineapple Express, but Slumdog is the first film in a long time to challenge City of God as my all-time favourite movie.

Saw it last night at Princess. Loved it, especially the story structure which was brilliant, and the fact that it was heart-warming without being over the top sappy or sentimental. A stellar film and a definite contender for underdog best picture choice come Oscar time.
